With numbers just being made available, the Count Dante and the
BDFS performance on WEDNESDAY May 29th at the Pound SF shattered
all previous live gates for a Wednesday night at the club with an
astounding 16 paid attendance! These staggering numbers are sure
to set the San Francisco live music scene on its ear as Count Dante's
excess of success at the Pound has created a whole new rock and
roll landscape in the City by the Bay.

about the Count's new coiffre spiked attendance at The Pound? --

Despite the Count's taking a lion's share of the glory for
this incredible achievement, many experts also point to the skyrocketing
popularity of opening act and def comedy stylings of Hiroshi Hasegawa
for this show's record setting gate.
Count Dante and the BDFS will be playing again at what
is reported to be the very last Punk Rock Happy Hour ever at the CW Saloon
(5th and Folsom, San Francisco) on Friday,
August 9th with Los
Cerveceros. Still, The Count and company will have to go a long
way to break their high water mark set at their May show at the Pound.
