Yes! Count Dante's crack team of top shelf artists
are wrapping the design of the cover and tray card and the discs
are being delivered to the pressing plant personally by the Count's
own DEADLY HANDS later this week!
FAT POWER is the first release from Count Dante and the BDFS since
their debut disc "THE DEADLIEST MAN ALIVE!" "Deadliest"
cemented the Count's position atop of San Francisco's rock and wrestling
hierarchy and his mastery of the bass guitar even earned him the
2001 BAMMIE NOMINATION for "Outstanding Bassist." Count
narrowly lost the coveted prize (that had previously been won by
ROSS VALORY of JOURNEY and Les Claypool) to Green Day's Mike Dirnt.
On FAT POWER, Count Dante cranks up the intensity of his Kung-Fu
Rock and Roll Success Seminar with such senses shattering anthems
as "Come to My Seminar," "Pray for the
Flying J" and "Internet Ninja," and then
combines them with the sultry sex rock of "Hofbrau Lady,"
and "Edinburgh Castle Pussy!" Throughout each track,
The General cranks out his soulful solos over Jim "Ch'I
Power" Henderson's relentless rhythmic striking techniques!
All the while the Count spins all-true tales of his life as a martial
arts magnate with his powerful vocal style and even takes the time
to dish out a synth bass solo that is already expanding the limits
of hard rock bottom end!
FAT POWER also includes a cover by none other than multi-Eisner
Award winning comic book artist STEVE
LEIALOHA ("Fables,"
"Howard
the Duck") that is sure to make this disc a collector's
item! Complimenting Leialoha's will be the ground breaking design
of Brandi Valenza!
FAT POWER will be unleashed upon the public with a CD RELEASE EXTRAVAGANZA
on FRIDAY FEB. 10TH , 2006 at the BOTTOM OF THE HILL! Also appearing
