Yes! It's that time of year once again when fans of hair metal flock to lovely Tarzana, California to celebrate the website that gives us all so much joy while our supervisors aren't looking - METAL-SLUDGE.COM!!! Metal Sludge has laid a rightful claim to being the #1 HARD ROCK/HEAVY METAL SITE ON THE WEB and they have chosen COUNT DANTE AND THE BDFS to kick off their annual rock concert sleaze fest tour de force! The Sludge Extravaganza will be held on FRIDAY OCTOBER 4th at Paladino's Lounge, 6101 Reseda Blvd., Tarzana, CA. Also appearing will be metal tribute masters Metal Shop who are sure to keep things glammy, Motley Priest (a tribute to the harder 1980s metal), Handsome Devil, and the lovely Leigh Silver & Bitter Things. The show will be hosted by Josie Pearl, Angela Grant a whole bevy of Sludgettes of the Month and the depraved Jim Bob Dwarf. FANS! BE SURE TO GET THERE EARLY BECAUSE THE COUNT GOES ON BRIGHT AND EARLY AT 7:30pm!!! With Incredibly Strange Wrestling, Count Dante has done the Warped Tour, Skydome and the Fillmore! He has been nominated for the 2001 California Music Award for Outstanding Bassist and returned to the awards show the next year to take the stage with Sammy Hagar, Michael Anthony, Dave Meneketti and members of Smashmouth to belt out the Van Halen classic "Ain't Talkin' 'Bout Love!" The Count has even played the very last Punk Rock Happy Hour ever at the Covered Wagon Saloon! But all of these accomplishments only pale in comparison to being chosen out of the gazillions of bands that begged, cried and even prostituted themselves to play this year's Sludge Extravaganza!!!
